graduate students
The UCI Washington DC Academic Internship Program is only open to undergraduate students. However, it is more than just an undergraduate academic internship program. The Program provides both research and teaching opportunities for faculty and graduate students in the UC Washington Center in DC. The Center offers office space, computers, and telephones for visiting faculty and graduate students. Drop in to check your e-mail when you're in town or use our office facilities for an extended stay. We have facilities to accommodate most requests.
Graduate teaching associates
UCI UCDC has sent UCI graduate students from a variety of departments to serve from one quarter to one year as the Teaching Associate at the UC Washington Center. Teaching Associate responsibilities during a quarter include teaching the seminar course which explores both the DC area and the students' internships. The program is currently undergoing some changes in 2009-10, so the position may be very different in 2010-11. Updated information will be posted as soon as it is known.
